hmmmmmm... I guess I still need plenty of pondering time on that...I hear you and agree on some level, but I think I was a happier person before I loved...now I'm sooooo wary and unsure about people...no matter what they tell me or express to me...

Allen.... did you learn anything about yourself during that relationship?

yes ma'am...more than I ever thought possible, but still...the barn door's shut, but the horses are long gone...

I learned that; Love can only exist between equals, that to claim love, you're commiting 100% care & concern for the spiritual growth and welfare of that person, that love hurts, that it's easy when you're young and plenty of other things...still though...I used to be alot more carefree and I think I liked myself more...before I loved...

Having been loved and lost it I rather it be that way so next time I know what it means and understanding what I'm feeling so I could fully appreciate it this time around if it happens to me again.

yeah...I guess that's the basic reasoning behind to saying...I kind of think that they should teach it as a required course in school...who's going to help you avoid that loss if you have no good role models ?

Having come from a broken home I never had a real role model to teach me the basics of love. So now I take everything as a learning experience.

So you know more about yourself than you did before. That was a gift that relationship gave to you. Nothing is easy, regardless of your age. You just did not know the weight it carried back then... but its value is the same. You should not be carefree about love, but it is up to you if your spirit is carefree.

Love is like an Apple as I have posted before as a poem ^^

I think it is better to have some experience in everything you can experience rather then simply just imagining what the possiablities could be and not taking part

that's fine and I'm that way too...but sometimes it feels like being told where all the stop signs are, but not really having a map to plan a good route...

All of which are good in moderation but bad in excessive amounts. Like golfing in a lightning storm.

that may bring up a good question for another thread... can you really love something that can't love you back ?

Well that's the thing life is a journey where anything is possible you could meet your true love tomorrow! Or win the lottery or get hit by a truck, you just never now so you have to stop looking for it and then bam it hits you and then you take it day by day enjoying each experience you have with them. I believe love grows from experience you share with your partner.

I never got attatched or had feelings for inanimate objects until I loved women. And afterwards I now can have feelings and love inanimate objects. A lot cheaper and less messy.

have loved and then lost that love ? I mean...is knowing what your missing a good thing ?ohwell
 man, I can only say how I feel about that.

If WE never had a chance or TOOK the chance to FEEL LOVED, and to GIVE LOVE to ANOTHER, then would WE NOT have lived and died WITHOUT 'ever' KNOWING how beautiful THAT TIME WAS??

So as for ME, to of had THAT once in my life was to REALLY have the chance to FULLY LIVE in THIS life here....

Thats my thoughts,,loldrinker
