She looked at me...
with eyes that showed me she didn't care, anymore...
That the world had gone and pushed her down...
she couldn't climb back up, so was so sore...
and it made me cry the way she held her self inside.
I couldn't really take it.
She wasn't going to make it.
I could tell her love, had long ago. just die.

She touched me in the way, that a friend touches someone that they know...
But I had only finally met her, just a short, breath ago.
She gave me a little smile... that only lasted, for awhile,
she was tired, and she needed to be alone.
My heart was surely breaking, with the pain she was gently shaking,
and this old hearts, surely, not made of stone.

So I gently held her hand, and I helped to make her stand...
I carried her softly over to the bed,
she gave me a sweet smile...
said it will only be awhile,
and I can only wish lord, you were taking me, instead.

By the time the years passed by,
she no longer needed to cry...
she finally found someone, who loved her, just because,
and I only right this poem, cause I'm sitting home alone,
and I want the world to know, just who she was...
