For me It is Charlton Heston. He's played histroical characters such as
Michelangelo, Andrew Jackson as well as Thomas Jeffereson : biblical Moses, Judah Ben-Hur, John the Baptist. In science fiction genre he played George Taylor in original Planet of the Apes and Detective Thorn in Soylent Green. There were others were Charlton Heston displayed his softer side The Private War of Major Bensen. All in all a truly fine actor. |
