Thank you all for the advice... and to update. I recently tried to join a single parent group but was denied because it was only for moms. I just entered my daughter into the local boys and girls club as well. Now i will keep working with my daughter as well as my relationship status

she is in ontario and has issues to deal with Ive had my daughter since she was under 5 months old. Mom wasnt rdy to be a mom at the time and no interest nowadays

This past x mas my daughter and i put out cookies and milk as we do each year. This year an addition was a note tucked under the plate to santa that read " I would really like a mom. " That was the first night I have cried in years! I kept the letter. Now im working all day and take care of her at night but i think she is missing the things that moms do.(braids in her hair, etc, etc) As a dad i try my best to be Mr Mom but.... in reality Im not a mom. In my opinion Moms make a family complete. I am currently trying to get into a single parents group to address some of the issues with my daughter wanting a mom.
