 this one is a different technique I used I added texture to a canvas then added color and rubbed it out with a dry brush manipulating the image.. |

  the top one was referenced from a news paper print on awards night ..bottom one is of my niece knife work again and a range of colors... |

I use just about any medium ...art has been in my blood at a very young age....I build, sculpt,paint etc....In the first one it was a combination of acrylic and oils.....I have even painted with ashes just to obtain an old time feel......I even make my own paint like the old days with egg yolk and pigment......to paint with a knife it is basically throwing out the so called rules of painting with me anyhow I will throw on paint and take it from there not really paying attention on colors what comes out from it comes out...many times I will get my nieces or nephews to throw paint on a canvas and I will take it from there as in this one .......
 this is the one with ashes....  thank you for the positive comments...... |

Mini Monet rendition.....
 I enjoy doing old masters works just to get the feel of their pieces...most people that see my work mention that I don't have a style because they channel through me....to funny in my opinion |

Picasso rendition..  by using a knife you can get texture in the piece you can see it in this one especially in the hair it can create an illusion at times... |
