Humm well Texas has gone Bi-polar for a few more days.. Down in the low 30's at night the last few nights and low 60's during the day.. This should be our last cold spell.. 
Tomorrow 78 then Thursday it is suppose to be in the 90's for a few.. 
Mother Nature just does not know what she wants to do with Texas  
yer not the only who-man with bi-polar weather TG..  we be havin a wild time up Nor-East of ya.. crazy winds, freezing temps (AH-gin  ) just when it was looking springy like.. geesh, wind was so bad yesterday I woke to my entire tempo cover blown off and just holdin on by a few cee-ment blocks on one side.. spent the morning taking it all down 1 mth earlier than usual.. winds crazy again today.. just nutso weather.. cold and icy-snow on the ground too.. altho the sun's out.. bonus?

I’m gonna say something most people won’t admit… Sometimes I wonder if we’re all just scrolling past each other looking for a feeling instead of actually getting to know someone. Like… how many times have you matched or messaged someone and it started off great, then just slowly faded for no real reason? No argument. No bad vibes. Just… gone. that happens quite often actually.. the longer you chat at times, the more you realize there's no real spark, no commonalities.. and the conversation simply fades away.. I’ve had a few conversations on here that made me think, “okay, this could actually go somewhere,” and then out of nowhere, silence! And it makes you think… is it the app? Timing? Or are people just not as intentional as they say they are? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not expecting instant sparks or fairytale conversations. But I do appreciate consistency. Effort. Even something simple like “hey, I’m busy today but I’ll text you later” goes a long way. I guess what I’m really asking is… Are people here actually looking for something real, or just passing time until the next distraction shows up? No judgment either way, just curious where everyone’s head is at. And be real… what’s the main reason conversations usually die for you? 
for me? I'm not looking for anything but friendship, possibly an activity partner, obviously someone local would be preferrable but that's hard to find so I've no expectations of finding anyone really.. as to finding a mate/partner/THE one? doubtful at this point in my life so.. figure friendship is the best way to go as to what the main reason conversations usually die for me? lack of intelligent engagement on the other parties part.. simply put, I lose interest after awhile cuz they can't seem to keep a conversation going OR the conversations are all about themselves.. their needs, their wants & desires.. their past, what they hope for in the future, or it turns sexual before we've even met (total turnoff for me).. so again, lack of intelligent engagement.. I try encouraging the conversation by asking open ended questions, which would allow them to express themselves OR to even ask questions about me yet.. it doesn't seem to do much and at this point, I tend to move on |

yeah.. I love it too when I can binge watch a series..
maybe I'll check'em out if I can find an episode of either.. Harrison Ford also plays in Shrinking if you like him enough, you might try that one? currently they're 3 seaons with a 4th announced.. I saw one skit he did with Michael J Fox and it was hysterical.. so.. I've finished Virgin River S07 there's a cliff hanger so fairly sure S08 will come next year.. there was WAY less crime & just about no violence this season.. I was kinda holding my breath but, was glad it went back to it's original romantic way with some drama none the less but happy overall with S07 |

Oh I think we're talking about a different series. I thought you meant Beyond Paradise. That series has 3 seasons right now. I liked Virgin River, wonderfully romantic, and it has David Cubitt in it who's so hotdanged attractive, hihi. But at some point I didn't like it anymore. Cannot remember why, been a couple of years. But somehow the storyline didn't work for me anymore. Didn't it shift from focus on romantic to focus on crime & violence with that group that Cubitt leads? As for Yellowstone... I'm thinking the same thing, seeing Costner as a big screen actor. Another thing is that many of those actors used to be attractive hot men, now they're old farts. Like Harrison Ford in 1923, another prequel of Yellowstone. Not much Indiana Jones left in him now that he's in his 80s. I find myself worrying he's going to break a hip when he gets on or off his horse, hihi. Now watching episode 5 of 1923. It wasn't an easy one to get into either but it is getting quite good now. I do skip the bits where they beat up Indians. I really cannot stomach it. No.. actually that's a good series too Beyond Paradise Yup.. David's in it but not as a regular.. per se.. it's more back to romantic now with some drama of course and some comedy.. haven't seen anything of 1923 yet.. I kinda prefer my westerns on the big screen.. |
