its my hypothesis that it happens once you have kids.

I'm gonna rant off here a bit. This is not aimed at anyone particular it's not about any of you who knows me somewhat already but others

'one hit wonders" - what I mean with that I'm gonna explain right now.

So I log on...and I find a nudge..so I nudge back, everything is fine.

Then I get an email usually saying - Hey, how are you?

So I reply I'm great thank you...and you?

Nothing more. Sometimes I add something like "I'm great, thanks for looking me up, how is your evening? "...or similar.
Welcome to my world........



Then a big frickin' silence. So ok...I think she might logged off or something, got busy etc..so I wait...1 day later I write her again.. "Hi!"....no reply. Then I see her being logged on a few times already ever since..so it's not that she hasn't come back yet.

Some of the friends here can attest that I'm nice and never say anything completely stupid..I try to be funny and nice, so no excuses that I might be a 'perv' or someone who should be avoided at all costs.

My question is....Why do you email guys if you don't plan to respond?

Imagine the reverse scenario..

- You're standing in a bar with other friends..and I walk up to you and say "Hi! How are you?" Then you say "I'm fine thanks, and you?" And instead of responding to you , I turn around and walk away.
You would probably look at your friends and say "What an idiot".

Am I right?

Now, imagine this done to you not once but 3-4 times. How would that make you feel?

Not returning nudges is one thing, and I can understand when someone doesn't respond, because they logged off suddenly or their computer went bad etc....but look

When you email someone, that person thinks that you are interested. Interested for talking or getting to know each other, somehow you want a conversation or at least an email back or friendship whatever.

So any of you ladies...explain to me what's going on?
