Look for incomplete or vague profile sections.
If the listed age looks way off from the posted pictures. Admittedly there are some very young looking older people. So ask about the age if you feel unsure. If you get the usual answer; it was a mistake I'm really xx do you mind? It is easy for you to correct your own profile. Also, you can check the photos easily. Hold your finger on the picture, when the pop-up opens, select the option using Google lense. Look for exact matches. Do this for all of the profile pictures! You may see similar pictures, so look for exact matches.
In 10 minutes I found 5 fake profile matches to me.
Just be careful!
You will see how easily A I can create fake images.

Let me tell you my experience.
A while back, I meet what I thought was the perfect match fore me. We would text 4 or 5 times a day. We shared pictures, nothing too naughty, no nudes.
But then the red flags started popping up. She said we should cancel our accounts on the website. After a week of texting, she then told me she was not 56 years old as noted in her profile, but was actually only 46. Then, she could only text, her phone wouldn't work for actual calls, it also wouldn't work to do a video chat.
I told her that I had 2 grown daughters and about my grandkids. She said she lost her husband and daughter in a fatal car accident. Then said I shouldn't tell my kids about her.
I invited her to meet for a meal to get to know each other at any place she wanted near her. A few days before our meet, her mom got sick in New York and she had to go to her. I know things things like this happen. She said she had to get her mom to England for experimental cancer treatments. She played the sympathy card every time time I presses to meet.
I asked her is she could call me on her mom's phone.
Now, she was supposedly born in England and raised in New York. But when she actually called me, the accent was not English or American, it sounded more South American, very broken English.
My daughters were getting concerned and clearly saw the red flags. So, I asked her about herself, where she worked, went to school, etc.. she said she worked in a beauty shop in Orrville Ohio. My daughters being protective tried to look her up. They couldn't find anything about her on line. No Cosmetology license, no social media, nothing. They even called the shop she supposedly worked at and they never heard of her. She claimed they must have talked to the new receptionist.
So I did a Google image search on the pictures she had sent me. EVERY image she sent me was from some other woman's Facebook or Instagram site. They were identical matches and screen grabs from videos this other woman had posted.
When I confronted her about all of this she went dark, I've not heard from her since.
So please be very careful! Don't get played by these unscrupulous people. Don't get your heart stomped on.. Life is too short to deal with with their games and crap.
If I saved even 1 person from getting hut, sharing my embarrassing story is worth it!
