too many. it depends on the genre.... like... the Ramones is the greatest punk band. Black Sabbath is the best metal band (also the starters of metal), the best classic rock band(s) are Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, The Beatles, The Stones, and so many more.

music is whatever people make it out to be. someone may listen to some types of music to relate to problems or situations going on in their life. others may just like something because of the message.

personally, i like all types of music. sometimes it's good to listen to something and be able to relate to it. other times i listen to something that may pump me up or something that takes out the anger. other times i listen to something that's calming and relaxing. i also weite music so it's also a way of expressing myself. if i'm in a bad mood, i'll write something dark and heavy. if i'm in a good mood, i might write something upbeat and more rock and roll.
