I guess most of us came here to meet someone in person. It would be nice to get to know each other better online, than meet in person and become friends. It would be even better to be more than friends, but it takes time to build a relationship. Great sex is desirable, but some of us do not want to base so called "relationship" on it. If it is too much to ask for more than just great sex, well ... those of us who are not willing to lower the standards are going to remain alone.

Thanks for your welcome back. I've been around but I'm a bit fed up with forums, to tell you the truth. Ouch! I hope this topic was not the last drop? I do not know why you decided to leave, but there is always an option to change your mind and come back. I appreciate your comments and it would be pity to see you leave us for good. |

Many people find smokers rude and not tolerant enough. I'd like to tell you about one of my recent experiences, if I may?
I have a friend who is a catholic, but unlike me, but VERY, V E R Y religious. He never misses an opportunity to make a comment followed by a quote from a Bible. I am more spiritual than religious, but I understand that he has been through a lot and faith helps him find an inner strength to keep going. If it works for him, that's fine. The problem is that many of my friends are not religious at all and he is sometimes pushy with those comments. Some people felt hurt after his remarks. He is just honest and doesn't want to hurt or, God forbid, insult anyone, but simply does not understand that those comments sometimes wouldn't be quite appropriate. I talked to him and tried to explain why some of our friends are reacting the way they are, but his response came as a surprise to me. He was "equally annoyed" by smoking in my place (?) and made a suggestion. If we restrain from smoking he gave a word he will leave religious topics alone. I agreed and stopped smoking immediately. So did others who smoked. Guess who couldn't keep the word for too long? He not only got back to making the comments he promises not to make, but also yelled at us because "we smokers are such a great sinners"!? Hmmmm ... What to say... I do love my friend and accept his religious feelings. I am even ready not to smoke in my home when he comes over for a visit, if that is such a big deal, but is this type of behaviour on his side acceptable? I think not.He was the rude one, not us! And now he doesn't want to come over anymore because of us smokers who are "too much to handle"!? That was an example of lectures nobody needs or wants. Thank you for reading! |

Why would anyone need an excuse for having a choice and taking it?
Just like 2KidsMom I accept and respect my friends as they are, whether they smoke or not, have tattoos or not, etc. They are what they are and they are my friends. Perhaps I do not approve some things in their life-style, but hey, that's their life, so... why lecture them? I never smoke in my non-smoking friend's home or car, but when they come to my place they know I shall have a cigarette with a coffee. Guess what, they come and do not complain, just as I never complain when I visit them. |

It would be nice to look at someone special's eyes, touch his hand and feel those sparks between us, hardly resist grabbing him and ... mmmmmmmmmmm
But just occasionally or for one night only, so the gentlemen can conveniently get back to his career, life, ex-wife and kids etc. as usual... noooo, not worth it, not even for "an honour" to take a special place in his little black book with a next to the phone number. LOL Are there ANY men here looking for actual relationship, or it is only about sex? P.S. I know this post has just put me on gentlemen "avoid and do not contact list", but hey LOL that's life LOLOLOL |

Any smokers here who dislike non-smoker's lectures about so called healthy life?
Aren't those lectures funny when they come from people who drink more than just occasionally? I'd say those are double standards, since drinking is more acceptable in a society than smoking. What is your opinion? |

I think a lot of it is culture related....it makes you realise why some who come from those cultures want to get out and into the western world. Eg Philippines, India....do I need to go on. I work with about 50 Filipinos and some of their stories are quite shocking.....the ratio of female to male is insanely unbalanced.....my fili mates reckon it is like 20:1 female to male.....as a consequence you get many, many single mums, and yes mate many foreign male visitors...two from my work are going there next week to find wives. All I can say is good luck to them. Where can I go to find a good husband?? Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran OMG! LOL |

"if you want a alpha male around your age to understand---DO NOT hold your breath----" ____________________________________________________ That is true, but, unfortuanately, older does not always mean wiser. Right after I become a widow one "friend", who knew both my late husband and me, a bit younger than you, attempted to take an advantage of me by getting me drunk. LOL I drink occasionally, mostly a glass of wine or a beer complimenting a meal and he knew it. However, while he played the role of "a friend who offers a shoulder for crying" his eyes were focused mostly on my breasts. If it wasn't sad it would be funny. Well, it is funny NOW, but at the time when he tried to sneak into my pants it was not! It is interesting how some men will underestimate women even after knowing them for years. Or maybe he didn't underestimate me, but simply didn't care. His thinking was probably why not try now when she is still shaken and emotional. She accepted socialising and one glass of beer. Let's make it more than one glass and she'll me in my bed before she knows it. P.S. Just in case you are curious about how it ended... I paid the bill and left. His number is blocked. |

About YOLO0717
Interests: How curious are you to know!? To be honest ... not at all based on what your profile shows. You might be an interesting person, but it is not self-evident to someone who has never met you and has to get the first impression based on how you introduced yourself on your profile. Just because you are you and you showed up here do not expect that woman shall offer you their bodies, harts and all of their worldly possessions. |

They are VERY intelligent and each wolf in a pack has a role.
Long time ago I used to see one wolf when taking the mountain road to get to the ski slopes. We would stop so he can cross the road safely. He would slowly cross the road, than look back at us and disappear in the woods. He felt we were not a threat. It was his mountain. One of wolves on your photos just evoked those memories. Thank you for posting them! |

Well, Mr. Banker...
There is a considerable difference between toasting them and frying their bank account. Techniques and methods depend on IQ, both yours and IQ of a most unfortunate one that you choose to test the recipes on. Please do not test any of those recipes on me, Sir. As a former war reporter I might be tempted to return the favour. LOL Just kidding. :- D Blocking user would be my preferred course of action. Stay safe! AND AWAY FROM MY MAIL BOX! :- D |

Maybe horsing around. At least in the zoo, you get more action at the monkey cage. LOL |
