Maybe its just me but have you ever noticed how artists tend to use each others riffs. Im not in this case talking about rap...For example..Hammer sampled the music from Prince's "When doves cry" in his sorta hit "Pray"....Im referring to rock rip offs...Ive noticed that the intro to Tesla's love song can easily be compared to Creeds 6ft from the edge song..same chords just played different..Even Steve Stevens from Billy Idol mimics the guitar style of Leo Kotke in "Rebel Yell"....A real tricky one is ...and this is for all you Kiss fans out there...Listen to Avril Lavigne's pop hit "Complicated"..then the Kiss classic "I love it loud"..The vocal patterns are the same...the only difference is Gene rocks it..and lil Avy drags it through the mud.........I will say that I do love cover songs...Manowar did an amazing cover of Deep purples Highway Star..Billy Idol has covered Van Halens Jump...and I keep hoping that The Rolling Stones will cover Sheryl Crowes If it makes you happy..only because Mick Jagger can give that song the soul it needs..Anyway.Happy buckets of love my empty page friends list....................Jt White
