It is a long shot, and also a risk. I met my ex on one of the paying sites. Dated for 15 months, married for one year. Kicked him out when I found out he told more lies than truths. This is a great way to meet people but those that are trying to hide something love to use these sites hoping we'll see who they want us to see and not who they really are.

I was just wondering if anyone knows why people just disappear after the first contact. I can't figure out if it's something I said. I usually ask a general question about them and tell them a little more about me...then POOF!! They're gone! Any ideas? Don't know they just do. I would not worry about it though there are plenty more out there. Good Luck. I like your positive attitude but it gets so discouraging. I think I have a pretty good profile, but rarely hear from anyone. Are all the men waiting for us gals to write to them first? Then when you finally connect with someone initially, they disappear and you never hear from them again. There may be plenty more out there, but they all seem to be the same. |

I've had longer profiles, but never get any response. So I kept taking stuff out that I thought would be scaring the men away. I need some guy's input here.
