Good subject..
The list of the virtues I would look for in a woman is 1. Humility 2. Understanding 3. Considerateness/Thoughtfulness 4. Not an essential, but a sense of humor would be a plus

I think many of what we perceive as "mixed signals" are actually the product of our subjective interpretation of the original ones, which is more often than not inclined towards supporting our wishful thoughts as to our relationship with those people.
In addition, if anyone actually intended to send "mixed signals", whether it was just for fun or for some other more sincere reasons, it would be the waste of time and energy for at least the recipients of the signal or even the senders, as not only does it add nothing good to the relationship, but it could almost certainly worsen it as well, if there was any intention to build or strengthen one.. Some may find legitimate reasons for the use of them, but, the more they are used, the higher will be the chance that even clear signals could be interpreted as those, as in "Crying Wolf" situations..
