Since people define Love so drastically different from each other, match is of utmost importance. My take. It's just a word. More important is a bond,connection, mindset. The connection will mature if the couple has the mindset to be respectful,unselfish,forgiving,attentive to a partners needs and wants,etc.When two people don't take each other for granted and choose to not be over demanding, you can aquire unity. There is nothing on Earth like having some one you trust and respect.

I know it's hard to not over think these situations. Sounds like you ran the best and worst case scenario through your head and have too many doubts on the con side.

With the children in mind I don't know what the ex may pull if spiteful.You do.
People we are really interested in are few and far between. I would go for it on those grounds alone.But I am a tad feisty .

Some crazy people up in here. I think I like it!! We did a thread one time at another site, just showing our real eyes. It was pretty cool.

I still believe that people enter our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. So I don't trip out when some one falls out. Just like dating life has it's own weeding process. Of course friends get by with more. For the most part I have been let down precious little.

This is such an individual thing. Speaking for me only here, I only date local so I see no reason why someone I am showing mutual interest in can't meet me in 2 weeks. Or have a good reason why. If he needs more time to get his nerve up he is really not my type. Until I get that in person use of all my senses I don't want texting, too long of a talk on the phone, etc. Just enough to cover deal breakers.

So many out there that are married,misrepresenting or have no intention of ever coming from behind the laptop, etc. Time is precious. You meet more people out in the real world anyway and can bypass the B.S. easier.
