We open ourselves up trusting and believing in someone and finding out later they are not who they say they are. Investing time and feelings brings many different emotions. Pain, disappointment, lack of confidence, feelings of being used. Not understanding and on and on. It's part of life and we have to keep moving forward but it makes us less vunerable and more on guard which makes it hard to let someone in. Time heals and we need to continue believing our soulmate is out there somewhere.
