Here we go again....
If there is any one topic that.... A...raises the ire of so many.... B...prompts ridiculous posts belittling posters.... C...shows peoples inability for acceptance.... This is it.... Age is just a number.... Yes it is....older, younger...whatever...if you can mentally and emotionally meet somewhere in between the two, why not see if love has a chance.... Sure there are many cases of either person seeking such a relationship for financial gain or using the younger for pleasure only.... But there are also many, many age gap relationships that are being forged with love and devotion as their basis... This is a modern world.... Here in the west if your fit, healthy and in your 50s, with the state of health and future medical advances there should be no reason...barring accidents, that you could easily live into your 90s... This gives a new relationship up to and over 40 odd years of togetherness... As for the older guy taking advantage of the younger woman....sometimes...yes...but... Just because they are younger don't think that they are immature or easily influenced. Many younger girls are very strong and mature and have experienced a lot quite young and are now looking for someone that can provide maturity and life experience.... Same goes for the younger guy and older woman relationship...the serious ones....are seeking the same.... The most successful age gap relationships don’t focus on the aspect of aging.... They don’t see...and don’t focus on the aging process...they see the beauty within.... Having been in several age gap relationship over the years I guess the best advice I can give is, remember who counts most to you, your partner or the rest of the world.... Who makes you happy and feel good.... Who supports you and is there in bad as well as good.... No person on earth has the right to judge you in matters of the heart.... |
