Having worked for a large corporation, I can tell you, that they would
like you to call in only to let them know you are dead! I say take your
time off, get well, and then they will have a better employee for it.
It is management's job to make you feel guilty, but don't!

Today is Elvis's Birthday, what a man he was, a great entertainer,
singer and womanizer. But he had Charisma and charm and was what was
needed for us teenagers at the time. Whew! What a man. Happy Birthday
Elvis......and ME, cause we share the same day!

I remember most of those things, I remember we never had to lock our
doors, even if we were gone overnight. We made stilts out of coffee
cans and went everywhere on our bikes. Too bad society has changed so
much in such a short time!

It is true, our men are rugged. We also have some suits and just plain
guys. I know we are in short supply of guys out here though!

Thanks ladies. I really think of this guy like a son, so sometimes, the
mother in me kicks in and I forget, he is just a girlfriend.

his drama and antics, he is really the best girlfriend I have but there
are times he drives me up the wall. I am definately a straight woman.

My mom usedto tell me that "love was a itch around your heart, that you
can't quite scratch" Hope that helps, if any red flags go up when you
meet someone, just run, don't walk. Otherwise, relax, love will, truth,
honesty, etc will be there just when it should be.

Ever consider that since the time you and your husband broke up that you
have matured and grown into a independant woman with your own power?
When we do that, we like to have some male companionship, but it isn't
necessary. There may be some red flags with this guy, but you'll find
one that you'll feel comfortable with.

It sounds like he did fill a void for you, I would say don't walk but
run to the nearest exit. He may be too nice for you, we all want a guy
that is nice, but we all want the bad boy too. You need to sort out who
you are and what you want for yourself before you get involved with
anyone. Cut him lose and be gentle, there is someone that is just right
for him, and you just around the corner.
