Dedicated to my late wife and all those who have lost a special partner:

8 months have passed,
I still think of you,
drifting without purpose,
not knowing what to do,

I keep asking myself why did this happen?,
we had so many plans ahead,
now I feel utter loneliness,
and with dreams shattered instead,

moving forward without you,
has been difficult for me,
trying to find a new life,
and all it is meant to be,

part of me longs to move forward,
part of me wants to hold back,
trying for a proper balance,
to be on the right track,

I will forever love you,
but I must move on,
the memories of you will stay with me forever,
until it is my turn and I am gone.

I am a widower and at the age of 60. I would much rather meet women the old fashioned way, rather than on-line texting. I want to meet for friendships and if mutually interested into something more.
