I can't wait for the warmer weather. This has been a brutal winter this year and my heating bill was almost 400.00 for one month!!

400.00 dang. My highest this winter has been the one I paid this morning and it was 140.00 They'll start going down now.
wow that was really good since mine was 180 and I live in the south.

Crazy isn't it?

And I think you are wrong in many ways.
Post here and get to know us, allow us to get to know you, and you will find that we are talking quite a lot.laugh

And don't go out to find love, if you are patient it will find you when you least expect it to.

At the same time many of us have lives outside these forums. Maybe it's just to get out and work but we do have other things we need to be doing. We don't spend all our time here therefore at times the forum remains silent.

Hi Ron
How are you doing?

Good afternoon Betty. I'm good but gonna have to get off this couch and go outside to find something to do before I fall asleep.

Hows thing in your little corner of the world?

Well today it was rather warm but raining and very foggy.Made driving kind of difficult ,but I had a lot of errands to run.
Yesterday I stayed in all day cause it was just a shhet of ice out there.Lots of accidents were reported.

Yeah at ice is no fun to drive on. We don't get much ice out here. We get snow packed roads that are not real difficult to drive if you take it easy. I try not to get on those roads unless I have to. I don't trjust other drivers. To many people in a hurry these days

Just got a call from my daughter.laugh

I sent her a snack box (17 lbs)of goodies to get her through the next few weeks. You know, like boxes of crackers, cookies, raisins, breakfast bars cereals ,pudding snacks.

I have just been deemed the coolest, neatest, best Dad on her dorm floor.

I know it won't last to long, like when I ask if the nose is in the books, but it was kinda nice to get an excited call.(sweet tooth like her DAD)

Well that's a pretty cool feeling to have.

I sure hope passes to the mountain lakes hurry and open up so I can head up to my favorite spot to sit and read. Anyone wanna join me?
Is that a pic of it :) must be beautiful up there. Did you see the movie? White Oleander good one.

No I haven;t seen the movie. I jusr recently had the book recommended to me. The pic is of a creek up on the mountain called sawmill creek. I go up there several times a year just to sit and read. It's nice and peacefull up there.

Deepheart when I went through my divorce I made sure my ex was taken care of financially. Her retirement years are set as long as she's careful. I did this knowing I still had several years to establish some sort of retirement for myself. Never the less I still have to make sure my health stays good so I can one day retire. I pace myself these days so that I can work into my sixties. That means working less hours per day and only four day weeks. Doing this I'm sure I will be good for years to come. Sounds to me like you need to do the same. Pace yourself. If you have to draw disability then go for it. You have to take care of yourself.
