No doubt he has paid the price for sure. Millions of dollars in fact. Pete Rose was a great baseball player and played his heart out at full speed everyday. We all have shortcomings in life. He had his and paid for it dearly.Sport players today beat their wives senseless in elevators and get compensation, they beat their kids until they leave marks and get reinstated.Give Pete Rose a chance to redeem himself. Put restrictions on him One step at a time to ease the reinstatement if he falters then it is on him. The man is in his 70's lets give him a chance to prove he is sorry. We all know he lives and breathes baseball. This sounds like what Brian Kenny on MLB network has said.

I agree and I like the way the game is right now. The new rule changes curtailed fighting but did not eliminate it, and in the playoffs fighting is pretty close to over because ever since they widened the rink and made room for the skilled European players the power play can kill you because the scoring is up. the rink is still the same size!!! what they did do is change how far out the blue lines are. Plus they have stiffened the rules on faceoffs!

The guidelines that are currently used were proposed by some quack like 100 years ago! I think that those figures need to be examined much more closely. heck I stand 5'8' tall and I weigh 227lbs. I workout 3x's/week lifting very heavy weights. I was classified as obese!!! I plan on putting on another 8lbs of muscle mass before the end of this year.
