yea, i got my first taste of sangria xmas eve, very limey.  had sangria once.. not so bad. i drank flaming shots full of LOTS of alcohol. made my belly warm :) |

thank being force to go when i was a kid  me as well. my brothers and i used to get the *poke* for being obnoxious. my grandma was brutal :/  ew. that doesn't sound fun at all What could possibly be gained by that? Lol A plus for sure, but I meant the single act of shaving lol. |

He was born sometime that wasn't christmas, that's for sure. Ask any Preacher. I learned that the Catholic church needed to honor the birh of christ, so they picked Dec 25 to have Christ Mass. hense the name christmas Yes, that's about the size of it. I'm Catholic (ish) I went to Midnight mass at 11:00. Didn't make much sense... silly church it was a little more devious than that. they picked dec 25 to coralate with pagan festival of the tima of the solstice to help convert pagans. using this time would remove the fear of the loss of the celabration set up in the pagan religion making it easier to convert them. the placement of the star the wise men followed made it late spring early summer as the actual time of the birth of christ but hey what do i know deviance in the church? you dont say! I've heard the pagan festival fact as well. |
