See that's the thing. I've tried that. I'm getting no where on it. I just give up anymore. I'd rather be miserable clean and sober than happy high/drunk. I guess I just have to accept that I will never find true happiness, ever. Why do I have to be this way? Why can't I just be normal? Is it so much to ask for? Just to be normal? Just to feel normal emotions? Why do I have to be the way I am? I have been where you are before, and I could write a book on how my life got better. However, the thing that helped me the most was finding my higher power and going to AA/NA groups. It was rough in the beginning, but I eventually found my "true happiness" in everyday life! You will find it too! Just don't give up... seek help if needed. A good life is waiting for you... Just be yourself and be honest! I'm not normal either, I am my own individual! You are a unique individual too! I wish you the best... and you can email me anytime to talk!
