Hello everyone. I am new to this dating site thing, and it will most likely show as I continue. All I've read have been valid points in my opinion, but that must be for a generation much younger than mine. I would have imagined that you all have heard the line, " Back in the day....." etc. etc. I'm just here to try and understand this thing about a check list I keep hearing of. Is it now the norm that we are so self-centered that to continue existing our companion must be an item from the top shelf in a department store? Unfortunately, there are days, no moments when my thoughts entertain such a notion of a list. And it seems that the old school way of doing things has gone by the wayside. I guess I was lucky, 49 years with a woman who was my friend, my lover and my wife and so much more, were always able to work thing out and then there was no such thing as a check list for compatibility.
