Yes, there IS such a thing as Christian metal music, and it can get pretty brutal, thrashy, (un)black, dark, powerful, grind-noisy, sludgy, Gothic, and pretty much any subgenre you can find! A good primer for you is NOT K-LOVE, NOT Air1, and not really even Effect Radio (but they're trying, sort of). Your best bet in on the web (no towers, boo hoo) at Sanctus Gladius Radio: http://sanctusgladius.com/ And any like-minded people feel free to (I hope this forum lets us) post music/favorite bands!
