Well...*sigh*...dagnabbit! I don't know if anyone remembers me talking about the bird that flew into the house the other day...buuut...her children are having some issues. We knew where the nest was...up on top of the water heater...& we tried to keep it peaceful in the laundry room.

Anyway...I don't think the babies were good to go yet cuz one was stuck in the open (empty) washing machine & the other two landed in the empty garbage can by the door. So I put some rubber gloves on & tried to scoop them out of their various traps. As soon as I got them free, they flitter-fluttered out of my hand & scurried behind the washer & other stuff. Mom & Dad were cursing me out for messing with the babies so I just went back inside...geez, I hope they're gonna be ok...UGH! I know that Nature can be cruel but damn...I hope the stray cats don't get 'em...frown

I just made a gyro-style (sorta) sauce that's so easy & freakin' delih! All you need is very finely chopped or pureed cucumber, sour cream, & minced garlic or garlic powder...it's better if it's left to uh...fester...overnight in the fridge. Very cool & refreshing on a pita sammie! :thumbsup:
