Good morning (or evening/night for some)! I called Mom yesterday evening and told her what was going on with me and not to worry. I also asked her if she would be in the forums. I asked her to request prayers on my behalf because I know the power of prayer. I was at the ER for quite a while, but the news was good. I have suffered with fibromyalgia for over 20 years; however, the pain has never exhibited in such fashion. I had the typical symptoms of a heart attack (chest pain and tightness, shortness of breath, a little nausea), so, being a nurse, I knew I needed to take action. I had so many people praying for me, but I didn't know how many until I saw this thread. Not only did I have my family, friends, and church family praying for me, but I also had my mingle2 family praying as well. Even though many of you don't know me, you have displayed your faith by praying for me anyway, and it is greatly appreciated. I intend to eventually thank each of you individually, but, since the pain returned in the wee hours of the morning, I'm not up to the delightful task just yet. Please confine with your prayers as the pain continues. Also, as Mom mentioned, the anniversary of my husband's death approaches: 12/29, and it has been looming heavy on my heart. My love and appreciation goes out to each of you. Please let me know if I can ever return the favor!
