I like these stories. funny the things you notice or get used to. I can remember one things used to drive me nuts when I was married was when my husband would just take off walking as soon as car turned off..by time kids and I got out he was ten feet in front of us. used to drive me nuts. I have a brother in law ...when my nieces were little and they would come to visit he would wait for his wife to.sit down and hand her the baby and then walk out to car without saying word and bring in all the baby stuff..first time I witnessed this my jaw must dropped to floor Well I must admit it isn't all about chivalry. I would often take advantage of opening the car door by getting close enough to sniff her perfume, caress her gently, or stare into her eyes as we stood there motionless for an instant. Of course, I don't do that anymore. I'll open the door for ya, but no more of the mushy stuff. And then there the pretenders who do it just so they can squeeze some booty without getting slapped... May I get that door for ya ((((Leigh))))?

Remember this one time I was at store shopping and there was this elderly couple walking out in front of me. Raining cats and dogs ..real drencher and he says to her " wait right here sweetheart I will go get car and pull up. I don't want ya ruining your church clothes" I used to own a 1949 pickup truck. For the life of me I couldn't understand why a previous owner would remove only the driver's side lock tumbler leaving the passenger's side in tact. I was informed by an elder gentleman the reason was because a man would unlock and open the door for his wife and in turn she would unlock the driver's side door from the inside. Truth? I don't know. I like old trucks.
