May I add that one who believes the bible is very similar to a scientist in that he bases his belief on past research, the difference starts when the old research begins to show flaws and is replaced by a newer more sturdy approach. Fairytales and flying horses all seemed real back in the days where there was a lack of proper lighting, communication, historical information and even scientific research. This day has long passed yet the religious folks refuse to do further research to test their theories, instead they attack you by threatening you with eternal damnation while having fear for the same place. Its pretty obvious that atheism isnt a religion because most modern religions demand a meeting, collection of offerings to 'GOD,' baptisms and attendance as regularly as possible, to be an atheist, all you have to do is read a couple non-fiction books and compare the information, BAM....no baptism, no imaginary friends and no rich gold diggers seperating you and your hard earned money.
