I am a new member and I keep getting a lot of profile views and men who are trying to chat with me from other countries and I can clearly tell they are scammers. How can I limit who can chat with me and who can view my profile?

You can't change who can view your profile, I don't know about the IM settings because I don't use the IM feature, but if you're getting unwanted emails, you can change your mail settings by going to your home page, clicking "limit who can send you mail" and then setting your filters.
