I clicked on "Yes" on a profile. It came up as a match. The person lives close to my neighbourhood, but when I sent a message, I got no response. Why do people click that they want to meet, and then don't?

How do you report a profile that is fake? Got sent a message wanting to meet with a phone number. but when I texted the number, I received a reply saying that they never sent me their number and not to contact them again. The person who set up the profile hasn't been on line since sending me the message.
