to a certain degree the war on terror is a scam, the US has been involved in some major conflict and has made some dangerous enemies, most of which were not Afghanistan nor in Iraq. also the solution to terrorism is not going into a country, destroy their land and leave millions of orphans, that will just make more enemies. there is no easy way out of this problem americans find themselves in, and war is most definitely not the solution. to that extent the so-called "war on terror" is a scam. they did not go into Iraq to take down Sadam Houssain, they didn't go into Afghanistan to hunt Bin Laden
