I used to dwell on this thought way too much and I was absolutely horrified of death. To cease to exist was so incredibly terrifying for me. Of course that is when secular thinking was dominant in my mind and I was a hardcore atheist. I thought it would never happen that I would come to believe in Christ ever, but he eventually broke through all my pride and arrogance. Since then I've found consolation in Christ and the fact that he died so we may no longer have to. So now I no longer fear death. Of course I still don't want to die today for I feel there is still much I have to do in this life.
