Because older people are going against nature. Nature meant for people to find a mate when they were young. We looked better. Were healthier. Had more in common The beginning of adult life. More sexual. later in life. We aren't as attractive. May not be as healthy. More established in life. Want more from the other person.We judge them more carefully. Some people are jaded.
