Nothingness

not surviving, not living, just floating through this life day by day
through tears, desperation, a need for something that she does not
understand. the days are long, tiring, stretching into each other
meshing into one long time of nothingness, wrapping around her body like
a tight fist squeezing the air from her lungs, grappling for one shred
of happiness, finding it only to have it forced from her to turn into
just a memory of what should have been, what could have been until she
can barely remember it was even there. just another shadow upon her
life, not surviving, not living, not here.

blue eyes filled with unshed tears gaze into the face of an angel. so
sweet,so pure,so innocent. arms pull her closer relishing in the warmth
of that cheek against her chest. a hand lays down upon her shoulder and
she gazes up into the blue eyes of the man who brought this girl into
her life and her heart seems near to bursting at the feeling of
completness she gets when she is with them, feeling as if this is where
she belongs for the rest of her life
