Kinda of selfish, don't you think? Kids don't ask to be brought in this world and being of a certain nationality or religion that says procreate (without concern for their welfare) is selfish.

Unfit parents, people sucking up government assistance, and the earth being tapped out in terms of natural resources is reason enough to rethink having more than one or two.

What burns my butt even more is when adults -- that have kids together -- aren't balanced enough to maintain a relationship with each other and still think it's a good idea to have kids. Shouldn't mastering a relationship, understanding WHO will be the father or mother of someone's kids, or the meaning of commitment even in the worst of times MORE important than actually having a child? If a person doesn't have the skills to be in a relationship, how will they teach their kids to have the skills to be in a relationship?

This is a sensitive subject. I now defer.
