I think it's just to add tension. But in all reality, if I knew some crazy %&$* was going on, I'd grab whatever weapon I could and try to be ready for anything. I assume anyone else, male or female, would do the same.

I don't like Shippuden. Here's why. It's not in English and I don't understand the language that it's in. I don't want to read subtitles just to watch an anime and understand what's going on. 
Me either, but got used to it lol Just learned how to read fast from the old videogames that didn't have voice acting haha And hey, good story telling is universal. |
