When I saw that horror movie the Ring, where the girl comes out of the TV set, I scared my family by jumping up and running to the TV during one scene. They asked me what I was doing, I said if the @#$% comes outta this TV I'm going stomp the %$#@ outta her.

Recently, I saw The Evil Dead remake and Momma, is this how grown men really act? Screaming like girls? I was on the sofa and ready to fight something. It is annoying to watch this stuff and I am still pumped up because of the lack of a good pounding.

What's your opinion?

I don't like movies where they portray women as screaming helpless victims.

I like to see some kick butt too.

Many modern horror films are just that, the female leads kicking butt.

I think it's just to add tension. But in all reality, if I knew some crazy %&$* was going on, I'd grab whatever weapon I could and try to be ready for anything. I assume anyone else, male or female, would do the same.
It's a Hollywood conspiracy to p****fy all of us into being to scared to take any action!!!! O.O
.....or something.

In my opinion, it's easy to say that I'll do this or that when something similar to a movie happens.

What people say and what people actually do in an emergency situation are two different things, from what I have, thus far, witnessed.

Americans fall behind when it comes to horror flicks.. other than the Exorcist we don't measure up!

The most **** your pants scariest movie I ever saw was " Demons" by an Italian director!

Scarey as hell... and only watched it once! Will never watch it again!

and I've been watching scarey movies since I was 5! my parents were sick like that!
