Are you a doomsday prepper?

Speaking of Ivan and Katrina, the manner in which those situations were handled says to me that in the event of a 'doomsday' the **** hits the fan regardless of preppers, bunkers, tents, food whatever. Teach people how to master their emotions and how to trust in God. That's the best preparation anyone can have.
Right now a storm is supposed to hit Barbados at midnight tonight and the only preparation I've done is to marinate some red snappers to cook in the morning for lunch to take to work tomorrow. |

I didn't know this site was for interspecies dating. I thought it was to meet new people. But you guys are here to date fish. Guess I joined the wrong damn site. I think u have a really nice sense of humor. Thanks! As far as I can tell most people like my sense of humor. I've had a few people on twitter and other sites that blocked me because they took a joke personal and it wasn't. Some I wonder if they were even paying attention. But thanks for laughing. I'm here because my job doesn't give me a lot of free time to go out and meet girls and I've gotten tired of meeting flaky superficial girls where I live when I do go out. The other type of girl I keep meeting is the one with so much baggage about men that I never even stood a chance before I tried, so when I encounter that... I don't even try, I really don't have the time to deal with the trouble/stress. I've been single for nearly three years after breaking up with an ex-fiancée I was with for about 6 years in total. Since being single, I've met many gold-diggers and many flaky superficial girls whose only contribution to a relationship was a pretty face and a hot body and I've also met many very average girls with serious issues who thought of themselves as being so hot that a guy was lucky they even talked to him... again, with nothing to intelligent contribute to a conversation. So I'm here with no expectations, and so far, the forums are pretty cool, good conversations, interesting people and hopefully someday, a hot intelligent decent girl I can hit it off with. @SperenzaSutton: Disicableme is right, we're not all the same and if you enter the situation with that pre-disposition, you'll be a self-fulfilling prophet... just a tip. welcome to Mingle!

There's not only an epidemic out here of "commitment phobia" but men even seem stand offish regarding relationships anymore...it's like, "lets do the nasty, but only on my terms". This cat and mouse setting: Everyone's here to find that special someone and we meet people chat for awhile and then just spin off into someone else... Then we meet people again chat for awhile and etc. etc. etc. Repeat 9times Its literally hard to commit to just one possible match. Every one is playing the roll of the cat  and also that of the mouseee. :)

I have read this thread daily. I really like all of you. I love some of the answers;))) But the whole thread has began to creep me out..lol creeped me out from the beginning Were you? Explain! Hi SS Don't let some throw you lol. I don't mind answering questions, but sometimes if the questions start going around in circles never landing they get kinda old for me. It's kind of like watching one of those news interviews where you know the guys going to ask the same thing from every angle and then at the end they make their own commentary anyway that has nothing to do or even familar with the person's thoughts or answers. Then they say if your quiet "he doesn't like answering questions". I do think it's odd though that I'm followed around like a newbie reporter on the beat with mic in my face saying "gonna answer, gonna answer". Now on to your question.. excuse me a second...that's better. Sorry they had to adjust my makeup. There's new lights in the mingle studio I'm told and their making me sweat a little. Where was I?
