It may be nice if, especially when talking of war we define it correctly.
I am British I am not at war.
War is were two or more sides clash with violence. Invading and occupation is not war.
I am British and not at war. The politicians in Britain are conducting themselves in such a way I do not agree with.
The British generally are not at war nor do they want war. I have a family and do not wish to lose them to bombs or bullets provided by politicians.
I hope the general American and French populations think the same.

Politicians seem to be Lawyers and the wealthy. They speak for the few but have the finances of the masses. I worry for the future of today's civilisation if building new ones on top of the destroyed continues.
