Narus and Verint were Israeli Companies. The fact that they have now changed hands is of consequence. And yes I agree with you it was to save the Us government from being accused of spying on its own citizens. It's all about Technicalities Older Son.

Narus processes information tapped by AT&T and Verint processes info tapped by Verizon . Laugh at that all you will or better still deny it. LOL
check out Yosef Amit some time!laugh

Too bad that NARUS is now owned by Boeing, and is doing US-Government Contract Work for NSA etc!laugh
You're behind times Old Son!
Not exactly surprising!
Guess you looked at who founded the Company,and....................laugh
But in this World everyone spies on everyone else!
The Brits are even riding on the Coat-Tails of PRISM,since their Intelligence Charter forbids them to spy on British Citizens in the UK!
No TheNile then? so technically I was right about Narus so what have you got to say about Verint

One word is not sufficient for such a testing time.

I just read a very cutting article on Obama and I have changed my mind about the man again.

I had lost faith in the man but this article makes me think that he is on the right track but the diehards are making it extremely difficult for him.

I might be wrong but the jury is still out as far as I am concerned.

People want freedom. I don't care what religion you practice or believe in.

Murderers should be brought to justice.

agree, but who will bring BUSH and TONY BLAIR to justice?

Who indeed. Who will bring Obama to justice? Who will bring the murdering FBI thugs to justice? The CIA assassins? Who will bring the ADL thugs to justice and the Chicago police thugs to justice?

He who lives by the sword dies by the sword. Their Karma will get them. Good always wins over evil eventually.

Unless the masses awake.

In a corrupted world all that is left is Karma.

As Ali Abunimah
noted this week, “ The persistent association of Israel with
the world’s most negatively viewed countries will come as a
disappointment to Israeli government and other hasbara
officials who have invested millions of dollars in recent
years to greenwash and pinkwash Israel as an enlightened,
democratic and technological “Western” country.
With the 6/5/13
National Lebanese Resistance victory at al-Qusayr, coming as
it does 97 years to the month after the Triple Entente’s
(UK, France & Russia) May 1916 secret Asia Minor Agreement,
generally known as Sykes-Picot , the scheme to control the
Middle East following the defeat of the Ottoman Empire, has
furthered crumbled.
Its ‘Rosemary’s
baby’ progeny, the colonialist Zionist occupation of
Palestine, is condemned increasingly by history to an
identical fate.
According to a
growing number of US and European officials and Middle East
analysts, as well as ever more public opinion polls, it is
solely a matter of time until, like al-Qusayr, Palestine is
returned to her rightful inhabitants.

I

SS made this statement and nobody has addressed it.

The treason here is not on his part! It is on the part of those who committed these acts in the name of the American people!

Address the atrocities carried out by men taking orders from men higher up the ladder. People are being murdered in your names and mine on a daily basis. I say no to murder, what say you.

thats called an opinion, and it doesn't really matter... are you a lawyer that deals in war crimes? what makes you such an expert on what war crimes or not by looking at a 15 year old piece of footage, and you decide they are war crimes...

your looking at footage that you don't know if it has been edited or not, and then you make judgement calls... the treason was solely on him, and only him...

everything your saying is just your opinion, and means very little to the USMC, people that are experts on what is and what is not war crimes...
Dude you are so wrong and misinformed on so many levels its hardly worth the words. The Geneva convention and Terms of Nuremburg binds this country to certain standards and if it makes you feel better our entire government Dems amd repubs are both guilty as hell. Lets not leave out our so called media watchdogs, what a wretched joke this country has become.
amazing how you refuse to understand the difference between an opinion and fact

Men of conscience have opinions.

WikiLeaks’ New Release: The Kissinger Cables and Bradley Manning.

"WikiLeaks’ latest release, which includes documents already declassified but very difficult to search and obtain, is a testament to the ongoing need for WikiLeaks and similar groups. The revealed documents have sparked controversies around the world, even though they relate to the 1970s. If we had a uniform standard of justice, Nobel laureate Henry Kissinger would be the one on trial, and Bradley Manning would win the Nobel Peace Prize."

Brad the Patsy!
Got to be stupid to brag about something you have done that is Illegal!
He could have gotten away with it!
But the way he went,I wonder if he still think it was worth it twenty years down the road!

A Patsy for that selfserving Punk of Wikileaks!sick

Ya know Con.... we need sources like wikileaks to do the job the gov't media won't.

We used to have journalists that actually risked their a$$e$ to get stories like this to inform the public..... no more

Now any who try are attacked by the IRS and Holders' DOJ, labeled as whistleblowers, and black-balled in the gov't controlled press corp
Manning left himself wide open for those Charges!
Could have definitely been more discreet!
Laying down in front of the Juggernaut won't stop it,it will only crush you,as he will soon experience!

"I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break in pieces." -Étienne de La Boétie

We're talking about a 20 yr old child.... how "smart" were you or I at 20?

He saw something he considered VERY wrong, the people he worked for responsible for it (remember...a 20 yr old mind) and did something about it.

It may have not been the best route, but the news did get out (which it would not have by any other "proper" means....like chain of command

Sounds more like a human being controlled by conscience than a traitor to me. A 20 yr old private in a massive machine.... what would you have done?

Kids a hero in my eyes!

Does anyone remember why they automated our missile defense systems?

I agree with you entirely. The guy should be given a medal .

What beats me is people who complain bitterly about Government and disagree with Mannings action , that doesn't make sense. The Collateral Damage video which came about as a result of Mannings action showed the US Military in a very true but shameful way and insured that Manning was going to pay a heavy price. Those who complain about government while supporting that same governments unjust action against Manning are part of the problem.
