YOU come down to San diego to my school distrcit and tell me that becasue you can say its a lie from where you are in a bubble but until you deal with it on a daily basis then you can say that The school sent out a flyer saying they were going to teach about Harvey milk and have a holiday for him like martin luther king jr MY SCHOOL DISTRICT where I work the parents called and came and complianed and said TEll me when so I can take my kids out knowing that the school looses 38.50 for each kid that is absent and do you know what the school said to all those parents we will not let you know the day we will teach it so you will not know they EVEN TOLD THE CHILDREN NOT TO TELL THEIR PARENTS WHAT THEY LEARNED ;(

I hate it when people say that it doesn;t affect me or you!!! Its not fair for someone to be forced to marry them if they didn't believe it and then be put in jail away from their wifes and children that;s not cool whatabout our rights in the church ???? Not only that but do you want your 1st or kindergarten child to learn about two men or two women kissing and getting married at such a young age thwy should be learning their name alphabet not about homosexuality that's my main issue and yes that affects me and my future children I need to protect them we do whatever happened to morals????? I don't want to get spirtual but there is a downward sprial (not for the good) of this outsome already I guess at one of the gay protests they stated that this is just like the civil war that MLK fought and they compared it to slavery being forced ????? So a African American woman went to work and told a co worker that she was offended becasue she was born with that color or her skin it wasn't a choice that she made. And being gay is a choice not a race or color and she got fired that day ;(

Agreed but that's why the state gave them civil (something idk) but it give them all the rights of marriage but not the tittle that is sacred

i know that's why so many people are on the fence becasue if it didn't affect others it might be different for some but one couple recently got married in CA and when the wife applied for their marriage lisence where she wrote BRIDE AND GROOM they crossed it out and put party A and party B MAYBE MINGLE 2 JUST ASK ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A PARTY A OR B instead of man or woman

interesting you mentioned divorced it has been legalized in NOrway and Sweeden for quite sometime and the statistics for two men are 50% and women is 108% the highest so It's not pretty

although I am not really concered with their lifestyle I don't mind I have a few gay friends but it's considered a hate crime if a pastor at a church denies them so far 4 pastors are in jail sentenced to 1-8 months cause they don't believe that's not fair our children will be taught about that life style with a book called KING AND KING where two men kiss at the end

Well I guess this is just a california issue but recently gay marriage was legalized in our state even though 61% of us voted against it 4 judges overturned so we are recalling I guess Yes on 8 says that marriage is between a Man and a woman

I work with school age children and one of them the other day told me that they might be learning about someone just as important as Martin Luther King and I asked "who is more important than him" He replied Harvey MILK I almost died from a heart attack he was in 1st grade
