1024 KB = a MB 1024 KB = a GB 1024 GB = a TB and on and on. ITs always 1024 units, but many counts use only 1000 as the base: This is why your hard drive will show smaller than it is supposed to be. Hope this was helpful. Its easy to remember once you.. well.. remember it. haha.
