Redneck War,& the Scottish term redneck in the vernacular of the United States. The Scott's if I am not mistaken had partitioned the then presiding government in America for entry into the Country and signed it in there own blood. And wore identifying bandannas around there necks, to recognize each other. Thus the term Red Neck
