Maybe it is because so many girls this age have no father in the picture and they just want approval from a man. I ahve a 17 year old and I see this to be true with her and her friends. What they want is a man to tell her she is pretty and smart and funny and beautiful the way she is....all the things she SHOULD be hearing from her father(if he didn't take off and abandon her).
They are not looking for trouble, they are looking for approval. The only problem is that without a father, they don't know the right way to go about it. |

This is why men pay for the first date... New outfit $100 hair $70 Shoes $50 Dinner and a movie $70 Doesn't add up quite right does it? Dinner and a movie $70??? That's before the drinks, right? 
Yes I do see it and I really appreciate it, but does she realize I took a 9 minute shower, patted my hair down, smelled my jeans to make sure they were wearable, brushed the dust off of my shoes with some toilet paper and actually put on a clean shirt before our date. I did all this just for HER!!!
