i don't think it should be about proving yourself real.. this is after
all relationship advice ;) i think if you honestly believe and know
you're real, that's all that should matter.. you don't have to take the
time out to prove yourself to anyone.. just being you is all that's
needed. it speaks volumes over "i'm real"

i'm sorry to hear about your friend being hurt morena. :( it's horrible
to feel that way and be put in that position.. at least for me it causes
mistrust and being leary of just about everything. but if at first you
don't succeed try try again and eventually you'll be able to stop trying
cuz usually, for most people, it all works out in the end :)

lol the sex talk.. yeah.. seems to be a lot of it.. i do have to say i
don't really have anything negative to say about this site.. i haven't
really talked to many people on here, i don't know a lot of them.. but
thus far, it's more than a dating site. a lot of sites don't have the
general discussion and forums and all that.. it's just straight to the
point, at least this way, we get to read what people are about.. or say
they're about..

and yes the questioning.. it works wonders!!!!!!!! i used to only put
one pic up, but then i was thinking if i only put one up, who's to say i
didn't just grab it offline somewhere.. so i put many up... and direct
people to my myspace... cuz that's where the people i hang out with
everyday are... they know i'm real lol ... it's good to see support and
interaction.. you guys are awesome!!!

it's not about being scared. it's about being frustrated. i was in a
relationship with someone from the net for about 2 years, we're still
the best of friends. not saying everyone out there is out to
hurt/scam/use you. i don't recall anywhere i said that.

lol maybe they'll see this and get all hot in the face like omg they're
talking about me.. i know they are.. unfortunately that's not enough to
make people change their perception on how they treat others...

yes yes they are. it's pretty sad.. cuz one day they'll be looking for
a relationship, or aspire to have one, and they'll be so used to
spittin' their game it'll end up ruining it.

you posted a good topic. i've met a few people offline, and it's been
the worst experience. just because people say what you want to hear,
and they know what you want to hear by reading your profiles.. it's
pretty sad that people will go out and try to minimize someone's
feelings, like they're nothing. all it does in the end is making that
person a little harder on who he/she is going to trust in the future.
it's very rare it seems, even offline to find someone that's going to be
real with who they are and what they want. i've had the people out on
websites that, don't know what they want, but say they're looking for
long term or marriage and all that and then it's like oh i don't know
what i want.. well then don't put yourself out there like you know what
you want, because all you'll end up doing is hurting yourself. i don't
think it's that hard to be real.. i honestly don't know any other way to
be... i wonder why people feel the need to hurt.. or mislead.. maybe
they've been hurt a lot in their lives and want to pay it forward??

i grew up in the burbs of detroit (dearborn) just thought i'd say hi..
and maybe women are intimidated by ya :) usually people are intimidated
by good looking people

i like it okay.. it's just the town i live in, isn't anything what i'm
used to.. i moved to poynette from detroit... we don't even have a
freakin stoplight here.. lol

he was someone's daughter or with someone's? i got kinda lost at that
part.. and it doesn't hurt to write him.. just take the usual

lol i had one from someone in nigeria who was talking about selling
american bulldogs and he was a preachers assistant or something like
that and like 4 sentences later he was no longer a preachers assistant,
but worked in the fabric business.. how fantastic for him!!!!!!!

well just recently i went through this.. he suddenly didn't know what he
wanted after he did know before and blah blah.. i told him he shouldn't
put himself out there like he knows what he wants unless he's sure,
because it's like emotional torture for the girl... i mean, if you hear

then the next day i don't know what makes me happy.. that's... wow
