For the ladies in pain...

She slowly puts on her face each day, Not with their powders and creams But with her own uncompromising walls To shelter her shattered dreams. She pushes down her loneliness Hides away her pain Faces the world stern and cold Until she's all alone again. She often wonders to herself Where did it all go wrong? She tries music to soothe her heart Her loneliness harmonizes every song. Tired, she wonders what to do She can't figure out where to turn Inside her prison there's no way out She sees nothing left to learn. She looks outside for some inner light Looks inward at all her fear Hiding from any caring glance Terrified to look in the mirror. But past the walls and scars she has Her soul still fights its war To tear down her defensive shield Bring peace to her once more. She must see the beauty and the pain Know the message of her life She's here to experience the truth Not merely just to survive. I felt this in my soul. Thank you |

Tired , lonely, feeling confused
Searching, Waiting, hoping for news Frantic, shattered, tearful goodbyes Dreaming, floating, big hopeful eyes Forever, eternal, so long ago Mental, physical , psychological Promises broken and dreams crashing down Seems there’s nothing to get rid off them now Trying, persisting , full force ahead Hysterical, Content , these feelings in bed Are we just dreaming, a nightmare perhaps Those feelings now fading , as we’re spiritually awoken from our naps |
