I think its natural to feel nervous. If your still going through a divorce, it could come from the feeling that your doing something wrong. Then again it could be from the excitment of starting over. I say smile, have some fun! Like I was told earlier---Never hurts to get your feet wet!

I think you look great either way, but you need to go with what makes YOU feel best about YOU. I like the beard though. Always thought them to be very attractive!
