Judging
|

We are not to judge people, but we can judge (within our own minds silently) by a person's words and actions, whether or not we want to associate with them or not. God is the Ultimate Judge and the only One who has any right to cast forth a vote, unless we are called to Jury duty here on earth. But it is not for us to go to a person and say, "you did this wrong, you said that,...." etc. If we find fault with a Christian brother or sister, the best way to resolve it is to speak with your pastor about it and perhaps you and the person you are concerned about can sit together and talk with your pastor. We don't know what is behind the action of another human being, nor do we know what kind of horror they may have just experienced that may have dragged them down a bit. Best bet? Pray for God to reveal to you your own faults and pray that God opens the eyes of the person to the concern you have. I've tried this and it works every time, because I check my own motives first and also pray God gets the person or persons to check theirs as well :)
Blessings. |

Love that hymn and love to play all the hymns on my piano :) Christian praise and worship when one can play an instrument is an experience beyond what words can say, and I write for various Christian sites. I play piano, my brother plays drums, my nephew plays bass and drums...no not all of us together :) But we all dedicated our instruments to the Lord when we got them. I've played 25 years and I never tire of playing the hymns and worship choruses on the piano. I feel Jesus so close when I do. I could go on and on...but I won't :)
God bless all! |

Christians that 'talk but don't walk' are not living the life God wants them to lead, and instead of looking at them, look at the life of Jesus and find people who imitate His life, His values and beliefs. Humans will err, but Jesus never did and God never will. Look for the good examples and ignore the 'bad' examples spoken of.

Sex Before Marriage?"

I absolutely love the way the one member responds to this topic. I agree totally in abstinance outside of marriage. It is worth it to be pure and whole until you meet the one God has intended for you. Even for people who have had to divorce for one reason or another, can be a chance for abstinence again, and wait until the right person comes along. i would rather wait and save my entire being for the one person God has intended for me that to bounce around from one danger to another with all the various STDs that are out there, and those who just 'want to have fun' fulfilling their own desires rather than waiting to fulfill God's will. Until then, I choose God as my 'companion' and if I wait for God to open the door, He will bring me someone who has the same desires and beliefs that I do. I'm worth that much and the person waiting for me is worth me holding myself to a higher standard as well.
To God be the glory! |

Yes, I believe God can watch EVERYBODY at Every Given moment in time. He is the only One who is Omni-present...He is everywhere, all the time, at every minute second of life. He is all I need. :)
