truth........you might want to move to another planet. I grew up in the

basis, but I had to conquer my anger and not be a reflection of the

can get angry at a person's word's and actions, not the color of their

There is nothing in this society that justifies losing your temper and
disrespecting someone's outer appearance. The Seinfeld guy would have
felt the same way if the tables had been turned. Quick scenario: If
Eddie Murphy would have gotten angry about a white photographer taking
an unauthorized photo of him and went ballistic with racist comments,
I'm almost 100000000% most of America would have shunned him and his
credibility as a people person would have been smashed into much smaller
pieces than Michael from Seinfeld's. If Hugo Chavez would have make
racist statements about George Bush, this country would be in an uproar.
Don't think for one second that I justify the use of the word, but I
don't think anyone else should be using either.

wow truth!!!! I'm Cherokee and black as well......hell, we could be
part of the same tribe.....who knows? That's just how small this planet
is and it's reflective of the short amount of time we have to be on it.

Sorry James, I can't allow a derogatory word that my ancestors
despised, died for and tried to live under be tranformed into a joke.
Seriously, I have far tooooo much self respect for that. Like I said a
few blocks ago, I handled it accordingly when I was disrespected because
of my skin tone by someone who had no idea who I was and had NEVER been
violated by me.......I was called a NIGGER. Therefore, an ass kicking
was imminent and very well delivered. If the situation comes up again
and the person is within reach, trust me it'll happen again. I look at
it like this, if I'm not acting in a NIGGERISH fashion and I am called
one, then I'll continue to whip ass until my ears don't absorb that word
any longer.

Well James, let me break it down for you......I don't see any people on
here truly pissed about the word as much as we are frustrated with the
context in which the word is used.....this applies to blacks and whites.
I don't have a problem with it unless it flies out of the mouth of an
obvious jackass. If a person feels the need to use that word to provoke
anger, intimidation or maybe even their very own ass beating........then
that person is obviously a "NIGGER". Too many people are bigots and
prejudiced mostly because of ignorance and a fear of something or
someone they can't even begin to understand. Some of those people also
feel threatened by an absolute lack of knowledge and the possibility
that the next person may be smarter, richer, stronger, faster or
whatever.

Howareyou......it gets no more precise than that. Our race as a whole
is judged based on the actions of a few jackasses and in the eyes of
some blacks, the stereotypes are mutual. I've been called N!@@er to my
face once in my life and I cannot describe the punishment that I
inflicted while I am online.....but I tell you what, I have not had that
problem since and some people are becoming more open minded (except
Kramer) and they are understanding that America is a huge melting pot of
every culture and race this planet has to offer.......I feel racism is
still strong, but it is not as dominant as it was "fiddy" years ago.

I totally agree that the use of that word is totally inappropriate from
blacks, whites or anyone who feels the need to use it. Trust me, I
never use that word as a mutual greeting.....I use it to address anyone

Like I said, I use that word in some of my music and I ALWAYS make sure
it is directed to those who have earned to be called such a name.....in
direct reference to those who have made the image of an average black
man out to be a NIGGA. Sorry to say it.....this is just one of
reality's ugly faces. I don't even watch BET, MTV or listen to half the
radio stations anymore because the entire image has been terribly
polluted.
