Not at all, I am saying that by not settling before it feels right, we bypass the drama..and the painful conclusion of a failed attempt to be with someone that we are not compatible with in the first place. Be it for looks, or for status, most men do not take the time to befriend a woman before offering himself. I took your statement wrong...my apologies! I would certainly agree with you in that case.

i just find it funny how people want to be happy in life but are so quick to dismiss what matters the most...i dont profit from this post it was sent to me i liked it i agreed with it an i will defend it..if this isnt the way you want to be in life then oh well life goes on... Don't take offense to my little joke. I didn't mean to make light of your post. It would be lovely if every tiff ended in hugs. What do you say? Big hug?

I would add that nice guys do not finish last.. we let the not so nice guys weed out all the "undesirables".. because they say that birds of a feather flock together.. We, as nice guys should appreciate finishing last because we get the biggest prize and do not have to go through many, many women that are less than perfect for us. Curious...are you saying you would not date a woman who's been in an abusive relationship prior?

Cause we are all stupid/blind for love Maybe the bigger question is why do they believe that could possibly be love? I agree, maybe they did not have a good example of what love between a man and a woman should look like when they were growing up. I'd say most likely and very sad. While so many cling to the familiar, it's amazing we advance as a society at all really.

So far, not many people who have emailed me seem to have much to say. I wonder if that's typical or if I just have bad luck. I thought I'd try to find out where those with more than a "like yer profile" mentality are hiding. I think I've found you...care if I join you a while? Hello, and welcome to our humble prison of passions. I wouldn't put alot in anyone's first email to you as what their about.. Many will see one they find attrative, and then just say, hi.lol So SOME of them one liners might have some GREAT sentences behind their first email to you... Just food for thought. I wish you great success in your searches..... Oh, I don't mind the simple first contacts so much...I wouldn't know what to say either. It's when the following correspondence continues in that tone that I get a little bored with it. I don't mean to offend anyone, but why write if you've nothing to say?

I suppose if the issue were controlled, I might not know of it until we were already dating...so, yes. If it were not controlled though, and the issue made the person annoying to start with, I don't imagine I'd be around long enough to find out about it...so, no.
